This is my first review so I'm going to keep it short and sweet.
First off I'd like to state my reason for choosing this weapon. I wanted an affordable full metal HK416. Obviously this gun met my criteria with a price tag of $164 from Airrattle.com
(All pictures include after market parts.)
It came shipped in a plane brown box. Inside the box was the usual, an 8.4v battery, a slow as balls wall charger, one high-cap mag, one unjamming rod, a cheap sling, the usual bad English owners manual and of course the gun itself.
The gun itself has a vary nice weight to it and is rock solid. No wobble anywhere especially the rail/upper receiver joint. It has the usual flat black finish. The only plastic parts are the motor grip, stock and orange flash hider. The only trade marks are the AGM logo on the left side of the lower receiver and the fire selector indicators. Sadly they are all white instead of the one white and two red like the real steel.
I tend to be very particular about the size of motor grips and when it comes to this one I was very impressed at how close in size it is to a real tango down grip. Also it lacks the usual large seam lines you find on other Chinese made grips.
One of my favorite things to find are small often cosmetic details that make the gun more realistic. In this case It was when I removed the rail to find a vary realistic looking gas piston system.
A nice touch considering it can't even be seen unless the rail is removed.
Next are the internals. I had rather low expectations for this replica but upon opening it I found a flat fuse (automotive type), then a metal spring guide, what appeared to be brass 8 or 9mm bearings and a sector tab on the sector gear. Also a first is the gearbox shell is radiused in the corners of the cylinder openings. From what I can tell this gun is not too Shabby for the price. It chrono'd at 423 fps with .20g bb's
Over all I would give this gun an (8.5 out of 10) rating. If you're looking for a low cost full metal 416 to finish your seal kit I would suggest this to fill that role.
