Well guys I've talked to puggy and fatty about this already and this summer I'm going to actually plan and follow through with a small scale squad vs. squad weekend long milsim game. When considering the way milsim events work it always breaks down to a squad vs. squad scenario. I've been planning objectives and rules for this game over last couple of weeks and I feel it will turn out to be quite fun if done just right. Date: October 9-11, 2015 Time: I will plan on going up on a Friday. Anyone else is willing to go up that day also but Game play wont start until Saturday and will end sometime Sunday. Game play will not be continuous. We will take a dinner break and sleep break. Location: Harrison, MI Obviously this event is a ways away which is why it will take place over a weekend. The AO is 20 acres of woods, creeks and trails which backs up to state land. Cost: Free other than the gas to make it up there. Accommodations: There is no electricity or running water on site so be sure to bring water and a means of charging batteries ex. generator or car power invertor. Player cap: Not exactly a cap but the event will be invite only. I would like to keep the amount of people around 20 in order to stick to the squad vs. squad based objectives. Camo Requirments: Multicam and M81 woodland.(gear color irrelevant) Teams will be drawn at random and changed for the night op and sunday op Here are some pictures of the land from a few summers ago. I'm going up tomorrow and will get some pictures of some of the new areas I've discovered.l ROSTERScotty Fatty Foxhound

Feel free to chime in with missions and rules you guys would like to try. One of the rules we are going to try which I think will be essential to give the game a consistant flow is that a squad is not allowed to give chase. What I mean by this is if the enemy squad feels the need to pull out of the fire fight your squad is not allowed to pursue their retreat. This rule is in place in order to let the squad regroup after a fire fight and continue on to a new objective with out having to stop game play for a reset.

Only what's pictured. There are several campers on sight but will be out of play. Through out the summer I plan on building some bunkers and a Vietnam style village along the creek bed.

I can't commit to help beforehand with my work obligations, but I'm definitely interested in attending.

MEGA BUMP! Alright guys so I've been super busy and have put this off to long. If people still want to make this happen it will take place the weekend of October 9-11. Please let me know if you plan on attending so I can get a roster started and plan objectives.

Dammit! Of course it has to be the weekend when I'm going to Chicago for a wedding. Better do another one next year so I can go!
