So I will be home from Korea April 20- May 19 and am willing to work in a team training day to help prepare the vets and new guys for black sheep tactics. I would like to have the whole black sheep squad attend so we can collectively come up with a date to do it. I would like to make it an overnight game day/ training. I'm going to be instructing and giving expertise on certain tactics the way the military does it. I know last year we had some moments as a squad that we fell apart on tactics and got smoked because of it. If anyone has any thoughts or comments feel free to comment, I just feel this would benefit our squad tremendously.

I'm down but I think an over night event would be a bit much this close to the event for guys who work weekends or have a long drive like puggy. I'm all for running until after dark so we can practice or "moons out goons out" tactics. p.s. We will need that tac ladder to train properly

Any day except April 25 and May 8-13 work for me. Those are family days reserved for wedding festivities for my sister. Also the tac ladder will be brought to training. I have a few courses in mind that we use for the base Quick Reaction Team. Just check the calendars and agree on a date that all or nearly all can attend. If not all can attend we will be having a partial training day at the AO when we arrive. Also, safety is number one (even though they are replicas) so during training please be professional. We are representing Michigan and combat junkies so respect each other's opinions and ideas when it comes to improving our tactics. Needless to say, regardless of the training day we will kick some ass as always, but the cooler we look doing it the better. If you have any direct questions feel free to pm me.

Davis, Do you know the make and model of the ladder? I would just like to have an idea of how we will transport and deploy the ladder in action. Also do you think we should have an OPFOR arranged to train against or would you rather use targets?

ill look for the make and model next time I go to supply. Also we will be using targets for the first portion and once each fire team feels comfortable with the tactics we will do friend and foe identification training in the buildings. So yes, OPFOR will be used but not until everyone feels comfortable with the movements and tactics.

Can I get a final count as to how many people are coming to the training day? It'll help me put together a training plan so we don't waste time. Even if you are on the fence, list yourself as going so I'm not short on targets or anything.

Fatty and I will be there. So everyone is on the same page we will be doing this the sunday before blacksheep. Even if you don't attend blacksheep I would still like everyone to attend the training day. Also davis would you prefer to have an opfor.
